The PPM module contains an active temperature control circuit, thermoelectric cooler, and fan to regulate the operating temperature of the diode. The PPM can operate in either constant current or automatic power control mode. Built-in potentiometers enable users to adjust the drive current, laser power, or active temperature control parameters, and a 7-pin connector allows for DVM-compatible monitoring of these parameters. The PPM is ideal for a variety of applications, including alignment and measurement. Beam circularization is available.
For those requiring active monitoring of their PPM, an optional side cover is available that allows users to plug directly into the unit.
