PTI's 3D printing light source was designed to meet the demands of DLP based 3D printing. Born out of our experience making light sources for cinema projectors, our knowledge of making laser light sources for DLP applications is second to none. For example, the systems optical divergence characteristics have been optimized to meet the etendue needs of DLP projection systems. In addition, the wavelength of 405nm is optimized for today's resin-based photopolymers. This light source is designed for Original Equipment Manufacturers that manufacture 3D printers. It is not a replacement part for low power resin-based photopolymer 3D printers.
