Power Technology Co-CEO named to Arkansas Business’ annual list of influential leaders in the state

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Nov. 21, 2022 –Walter Burgess, Power Technology co-CEO, was recognized in the 2022 edition of The Arkansas 250, a list of influential leaders in the state published by Arkansas Business.
Arkansas Business builds The Arkansas 250 annual list by comparing notes with executives and community leaders from every region and each major industry category in the state. This includes reviewing board of directors lists for publicly traded companies, universities and nonprofit organizations. Media outlet reports are also analyzed to identify the business, political and quality-of-life stories that are most significant to readers.
“The leaders on The Arkansas 250 list demonstrate dedication to their respective sectors as well as to cultivating business in our state,” Burgess said.”It includes honorees from a wide variety of Arkansas entities and organizations such as The Walton Family Foundation, Arkansas Economic Development Commission, Tyson Foods, J.B Hunt, World Trade Center Arkansas, Delta Solar, Arkansas Heart Hospital, the Sarah for Governor campaign, and many more.

Burgess serves on multiple boards at the national, state and local levels. “As a fourth-generation entrepreneur, supporting entrepreneurs through the Arkansas Science & Technology Board brings me a lot of joy. The board and I are honored to invest approximately $4.5M per year into small businesses and entrepreneurship in Arkansas. This creates high-paying jobs for our state.”
Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed Burgess to the board and he was recently elected Chairman by the board members.
