Raman Spectroscopy lasers are often used in pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, plus and many other applications in life science and biomedicine. The most typical wavelength utilized is 785nm due to a delicate balance of complex photonic interactions. Recent technological advancements have pushed UV Raman Spectroscopy to the spotlight, since smaller semiconductor lasers, like Power Technology’s 261nm “NuV” Laser module offers a reliable, high-fidelity UV source in a compact size.
PTI offers state-of-the-art lased based imaging systems that provide reliability, controllability and IQµ stability essential for scientific research. Our microprocessor controlled module offers precise control over crucial operating parameters by two methods: an on-board, menu driven, local control or a Windows compatible control and monitoring software via USB or RS-232 interface. The module is available with multiple wavelengths ranging from 375nm to 1600nm inside the same module package. With output powers of <1mW to 1W and ambient operating temperatures of 0 to 40° C, the module performs extremely well in numerous applications.

Custom Scientific / Analytical Laser Solutions
For users seeking a specialized module outside of our standard product line, we perform many custom design and manufacturing services. We house a full-service machine shop, complete with milling and turning equipment capable of handling large-scale production jobs, as well as R&D projects and prototype creation. In addition, we can harness our in-house pick-and-place capabilities to construct a variety of detailed boards at rapid speed achieving both high and low volume production.
