ILC LASER IN ACTION:

Vinokhodov, A., Krivokorytov, M., Sidelnikov, Y., Krivtsun, V., Medvedev, V., Bushuev, V., Koshelev, K., Glushkov, D., & Ellwi, S. (2016). Stable droplet generator for a high brightness laser produced plasma extreme ultraviolet source. Review of Scientific Instruments, 87(10), 103304. https://doi.org/10.1063/1.4964891

ILC Pulser in Stroboscopic Backlight Imaging:

In the paper titled “Stable Droplet Generator for a High Brightness Laser Produced Plasma Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Source” (Vinokhodov et al., 2016), the IL30C pulsed laser served as a stroboscopic backlight to illuminate and capture high-speed images of liquid metal droplets in flight. By emitting short, intense pulses, the IL30C “freezes” the droplet’s motion at precise intervals—enabling accurate measurement of droplet size, velocity, and positioning. This stroboscopic method was crucial for synchronizing the droplets as targets for laser-produced plasma, ultimately enhancing the stability and brightness of the EUV source.
Galanzha, E. I., Shashkov, E. V., Spring, P., Suen, J. Y., & Zharov, V. P. (2009). In vivo, noninvasive, label-free detection and eradication of circulating metastatic melanoma cells using two-color photoacoustic flow cytometry with a diode laser. Cancer Research, 69(20), 7926–7934. https://doi.org/10.1158/0008-5472.CAN-08-4900

ILC Pulser In Vivo Detection and Eradication of Metastatic Melanoma Cells:

In the study titled “In Vivo, Noninvasive, Label-Free Detection and Eradication of Circulating Metastatic Melanoma Cells Using Two-Color Photoacoustic Flow Cytometry with a Diode Laser”, published in Cancer Research (Galanzha et al., 2009), the ILC Pulsed Laser was instrumental in developing a novel method for noninvasive cancer diagnostics. This method achieved high-sensitivity detection and eradication of metastatic melanoma cells in vivo, demonstrating the laser’s exceptional performance in biomedical applications.
