LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Sept. 7, 2021 – Power Technology, Inc. announces the release of its new SL28101AH HeNe Power Supply to address recent global supply chain demands.
The HeNe Power supply is designed to provide cross-compatibility with power supply options affected by recent changes in the market. It provides a solution to issues of regulatory compliance, performance and on-time shipping concerns of comparable products.
A recent international compliance standard update has contributed to the uptick in the need for Helium Neon power supplies.
“We added this high-voltage model to our HeNe power supply offering to address the growing global demand,” said William Burgess, Power Technology co-CEO. “We take care to proactively monitor global compliance matters. We anticipated the EN 60950-1 standard expiring in December of 2020 and took appropriate action. It has been an honor to be able to provide precision control electronics for Helium Neon laser tube customers dealing with supply chain difficulties during this transition.”
Power Technology HeNe Laser Power Supplies include third-party compliance certification. They are CE marked and tested to the international standard EN 61010-1:2012 by TUV Rheinland. IEC\EN 61010-1 is an alternative to IEC 62368-1 and is accepted by the European Union. The standard is internationally harmonized and can be used as a norm for the Declaration of Conformity for the Low Voltage Directive in the European Union.
