AURORA, Colo. – March 3, 2025 – Power Technology, Inc., a partner to premier aerospace and defense contractors, will feature newly added wavelengths to its line of ILC Pulsed Laser Modules for defense applications at AFA Warfare Symposium 2025. Our team of laser experts will showcase the ILC along with the entire Power Technology laser defense portfolio at booth #431 during the event.
“With the expanded wavelengths of our ILC pulsed laser module we are excited to offer more capabilities in military applications such as range finding, target designation, infrared illumination and more,” said Walter Burgess, co-CEO of Power Technology. “The updates are the latest developments in the evolution of our longstanding ILC flagship pulser. Today, it features an increased wavelength range from 465 nm to 1550 nm, and peak pulse powers up to 150 W for more applications than ever before,” he said.
Highlights include a compact design, tight pulse-to-pulse power consistency with plus-or-minus 0.5% drift per degree Celsius, as well as optional collimating optics to deliver optimized beam profiles over short or long distances. Additionally, the ILC offers adjustable pulse width, rate, and power for flexible use.
In addition to the ILC series, Power Technology continues to lead in designing a multitude of laser technologies with precision performance for a broad range of military applications. “We are proud to manufacture lasers for most common military laser applications including chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection, aiming/pointing, seeker testing of missile guidance systems, calibration of FLIR systems, lasers that are blind to NVG & FLIR sensors, IR Counter Measures and more,” said Burgess.
